The Lake House Studios illustration "Big Apple -Broadway Bound" has been reimagined by Chicago's Goodman Theatre for the set design of their Fall 2016 musical production of Leonard Bernstein's Wonderful Town. The new production is under direction of Mary Zimmerman with Set Direction by Tony ® award-winning Todd Rosenthal. It runs through October 26th, 2016 at The Goodman Theatre in The Albert Theatre space. For tickets and more information o the production please visit the Goodman Theater's website.

“The set design was inspired by a graphic illustration by Steven Duncan (owner of The Lake House Studio) so much so that our set designer Todd Rosenthal contacted the artist asking if we had his permission to recreate something similar. When working on a set, we do all types of research and look at many images. There was something special about the lighthearted nature of that illustration and it’s portrayal of the buildings of the New York skycap.”
